珪藻土を焼成したものを蒔きつけた、傷がつきにくく軽いお皿です。使う際に珪藻土が指に引っかかったり刺さったりして痛くないようにするために、珪藻土を蒔きつけた後に全体を軽く研き、その後改めて指で全体を撫でるなどして痛くなるような箇所が無いかを確認してから最後の漆をかけております。珪藻土はそれほど荒いわけではないので、珪藻土の間にゴミなどが溜まったりする心配はほとんどありません。
傷がつきにくいので、普段の食事に気兼ねなくお使いになれます。
